About this image

This asteroid has developed a ghostly tail recently. Image taken with the 0.5m f/3 Delta Rho at itel's Utah Desert site.
I wasn't sure if such a short exposure would reveal it, but it is, just, visible. Tail length seems to be about 3.5'. The star right next to the asteroid's head is, according to Guide 9, 3UC210-012899, mag 16.77.
