About this image

Images captured with SharpCap Pro, processed with Affinity Photo, GraXpert, and Siril (with BlurX and NoiseX). With a relatively short exposure time at f/4 the dust / cloud in the foreground from our galaxy was difficult to detect and required tone stretching and additional denoising. The galaxy is very small (4x2 arc minutes) and didn't reveal much structure. To me the image of the galaxy looks like a steaming plate of hot food - maybe I was getting hungry in the cold outdoors!
