Simon Marsh

My interest in Astronomy started when I was about nine years old, around the time of my first visit to the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank. At present, poor local observing conditions mean that I spend the majority of my telescope time looking at the Moon and brighter planets. My primary instrument is an 8" F6 Bresser Messier Dobsonian which offers excellent views whilst remaining fairly portable. I am very interested in Selenology and its history and enjoy collecting and studying moon-related books and maps.
