David Myles Gavine, one of the Association’s most knowledgeable and well-liked members, passed away on 2020 Jan 2
He was a founder member of Dundee AS and at their Feb 28 meeting they held a tribute to him, presented by Bill Samson and Ken Kennedy. A video of their presentation, summarising Dave’s wit and wisdom, can be viewed here
Dave wrote his own obituary and it was entrusted to his great friend Ken Kennedy. It will appear in an upcoming issue of the BAA Journal.
Dr Dave will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
