The sky was very clear last night in Chelmsford and remarkably dark for here (around 19.2 mag/arcsec^2 at the zenith based on Gaia photometry). Lots of Perseids around from my very informal watching and I collected around 221 on my five meteor cameras, along with 120 sporadics). I’m doing a test tonight streaming video from one of these cameras. UK004E looks to the southeast from here, so over Kent and northern France. The raw video is not very exciting to watch though!
