Solar Eclipse Conference 2025

From 13 to 15 June, the Belgian (Flemish) Society for Astronomy (Vereniging Voor Sterrenkunde or VVS) together with the Institute of Astronomy of the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) will organise the Solar Eclipse Conference (SEC) 2025 at the University of Leuven. We expect up to 200 participants from all over the world, including the USA, Canada, India, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Iceland, Romania, Moldovia, Switzerland and of course Belgium itself.
At this stage in the preparations for the conference, we have secured the conference programme with 23 internationally renowned speakers from 13 different countries who are recognised experts in their field.
