We present a report on observations of Venus made by members of the Mercury & Venus Section of the British Astronomical Association during the 2024–’25 eastern elongation. During this time, a number of interesting phenomena were recorded, including the previously reported cloud discontinuity. It seems that no hot spots on the night side were observed by members. In this report, we analyse the observations and present our conclusions.
