BAA Autumn Meeting 2023 – Practical Amateur Astronomy

We will be holding our Autumn meeting from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th September 2023 in Leicester. The event is designed to help people of all abilities to get more out of astronomy. There will be talks and advice on planetary imaging, telescopes, setting up meteor cameras and many other aspects of observational astronomy. Please be aware that we are unable to record this meeting.

You enter it as a promo code on the screen where you provide your details. The closing date for bookings is Sunday 17th September 2023.

Adult: £16 / £12 with the 25% BAA member discount

Optional Accommodation

Unfortunately all the university accommodation has now been booked up by others, so if you are coming and need to stay you will need to look at booking a room at one of the Premier Inns or B&B at one of the other hotels of guest houses in Leicester.

At the time of reporting this there are rooms available in the Leicester City Centre Premier Inn – Costs for Fri until Sun morning on a standard is £187.50 plus breakfast.
