Autumn 2026 Meeting

This years Autumn meeting will be held in Liverpool on Friday 18th September 2026 at the Quakers meeting House and on Saturday 19th September at Liverpool’s Central Library.
Talks:
Friday night we have Andy Newsam giving us a talk on how Astronomy has a Universal Appeal from all aspects of life from art , dance, gardening and music. Everything is connected. Meeting Begins at 19.00 and finishes at 21.00
Saturday will see a range of talks from the History of Astronomy to the cutting edge of what we can hope to see in the future. This event starts at 09.30 and ends around 16.30.
This year marks the 145th Anniversary of the Liverpool Astronomical Society and we will be helping them celebrate with this BAA event with a Friday night talk and a full day on Saturday.

Tickets are £15 for BAA Members, SPA members and members of Liverpool AS (discount codes available online for BAA members and circulated to others), and £20 for non-members.
