Historical Section Meeting 2025

Saturday 31st May 2025 10:00 - 17:00

The Historical Section’s annual meeting for 2025 will take place at the Devon and Exeter Institution, Exeter, Devon.

This historic library contains many astronomical treasures (see below) – in particular, the lunar globe built by the station-master astronomer Roger Langdon (1825-1894), whose 200th birthday we will be celebrating.

Provisional timings for the meeting are 10:00 – 17:00

The speaker program will be announced in early 2025.

On Sunday 1st June, we intend to visit the Norman Lockyer Observatory in Sidmouth, Devon.
