We have plans to visit the Orwell Park observatory, on Saturday evening, from 20:15. Note that, unfortunately, this observatory is not disabled accessible (it’s up five flights of stairs).
On Sunday morning, May 19th, we will be visiting St Mary’s Church, Playford, a couple of miles to the north-east of Ipswich. The churchyard has the grave of Sir George Biddell Airy, seventh Astronomer Royal; nearby is the country home of the Airy family, which has a commemorative plaque.
