SPA Meeting

The Society for Popular Astronomy are holding a meeting on 27th April 2024, 14:00–17:30 (doors open 13:30). BAA members are welcome at SPA meetings under a reciprocal arrangement. Please refer to the SPA website for full details.

Prof Ben Stappers (Jodrell Bank Science Centre) on Hunting for Extreme Neutron Stars with MeerKAT.
Robin Scagell will give a brief talk about things to look for in the sky over the coming three months.
Thomas Obitz will talk about using freely available spacecraft data to create dramatic images and analyse data using a home PC.
