    Well I would have really liked to have gone, went last year and it was excellent. But it was on a new moon weekend which with the travelling distance would take potentially two full observing nights away (Friday & Saturday) so didn’t book in case it was clear. As it was I got 6 hours observing in Friday night. It would be great if these lectures could be organised closer to full moons.

    Very Nice Peter. I was at Haw Wood Mon/Tuesday night and between 6 and 6.30am observed these 3 and Mercury hugging the horizon which was surprisingly bright – a prominent N/E object.
