The 2022–2023 eastern elongation of Venus

A B S T R A C T

We report on the 2022–’23 eastern elongation of Venus, for which the planet was well placed for observation. We analyse observations and reports made by Section members, commenting on general trends and phenomena observed during this time. The date of observed dichotomy is given, and we comment on interesting observations made during the period.
