    I classified this SN 3 months ago when it was ~mag 16 but it has been rising steadily ever since. This  is definitely unusual behaviour for a type II but not unique, perhaps similar to the famous SN1987A in the LMC.  It is now ~mag 14 so bright enough for a conventional ALPY or LISA etc, for example

    so could be an interesting target to follow.  It will be interesting to see what the professionals make of it.
