Spring Webinar

We are pleased to announce a Spring Webinar, with two speakers or were due to present at the postponed One Day Spring meeting in Nottingham.

The webinar will last about 1 1/2 hours with two presentations and Q&A.

The first speaker will be Prof Simon Goodwin on the topic of “Is anybody out there? ‘is about exoplanet detection and transit spectroscopy to look for life’ “followed by Roger Dymock giving an Exoplanet Division Update on Pro-Am Projects.

Prof Simon Goodwin is a Professor of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Sheffield.  He works on star formation and stellar dynamics – especially interactions between stars when they are young.
