About this image

An exceptional Perseid fireball, August 2010. Mag ~ -10 maybe brighter, certainly lit the ground. Radiant was very low so this came in at a very shallow angle.

Unfortunately the Islands were being swamped in Calima, dust from the Sahara. I've tried to improve the look a little but all of my pics from this expedition had an awful yellow cast due to the dust.
