About this image

This event was at 18d altitude in the NW. I used my mobile 8" F4 and set it up the previous evening where I had a clear view.  The duration of the stellar occultation was measured as 29.7 sec. one the longest dissapearances I have recorded. The image shows the light dip (blue line) compared to a nearby star.  The DV tape (AVI) is transferred to PC via FireWire for analysis. Results may be seen here: EURASTER dot NET
