About this image
There was a display of aurora seen here at Tarbatness last night. Not a large display but it lasted from 19:00 UT until around 04:00 UT. It was first seen on the northern horizon as a low green arc in bright moon light and some light cloud. This arc rose and fell and was somtimes doubled. Some curtaining was seen in the images and some moving bands. As the moon set after midnight and the sky darkened the colour was more easily seen. Some red and green bands were imaged along the green arc. Images attached from the early part of the display when moonlight illuminated the landscape and later when dark sky was present.
