This image was constructed using a Canon EOS 450D. It is a composite of three images taken at ISO 200 1/40th second and stitched in Image Composite Editor. It demonstrates the lunar phase and is a nice representation of the general appearance of the moon at this time. I have noticed that although these images hold little interest to those deeply involved in lunar study, they do attain much interest on social media and outreach perspectives
