Hickson 44 The Gamma Leonis Group

About this image

Generally regarded as the brightest of Hickson's 100 groups, and well placed at this time of year. Just north of Gamma Leonis, well worth a peek. The galaxies are nicely varied in classification, though only vast light buckets would be able to reveal this visually.
