About this image

Comet 45P Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova taken this morning under very bright Moonlit skies from my home observatory in SE Essex UK. I was quite suprised to record as much coma under these conditions....it would have looked really good if the Moon wasn't in the sky! Its moving so fast across the sky I had difficulty stacking the images. My stacking software didn't recognize the short star trails caused by the mount tracking at the speed and direction of the comet.
