About this image

I visited the Kelling Heath astro camp in Norfolk this weekend where I didn't take any equipment (I had to leave room for my wife Taryna and her wardrobe) I therefore had to gatecrash Andrew Robertson and Owen Brazell and use their large Dobs...thank you Andrew and Owen. C/2015V2 Johnson was one of the many objects we observed under the only clear sky of my stay. We could see the dust tail and the gas tail / edge of the dust fan, in fact all the features in my image albeit much less obviously. This image was taken from home just 24 hours after my visual observation. It was good to let the photons fall on my eyeball and not my CCD for a change.
