Supernova 2017eaw is a newly discovered relatively bright supernovae in NGC 6946 / Caldwell 12 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_6946) located in Cepheus & Cygnus. Measurement of iTelescope imagery using Astrometrica gives a magnitude of V=13.1 and position RA 20 34 44.24, Dec +60 11 36.1 (J2000).
