About this image

There is a lot of talk about this comet which is currently 1.5 Billion miles from Earth and magnitude 18.8 in this image. At close approach to Earth in June/July 2023 it will still be 108 Million miles from Earth and probably about magnitude 5 according to the latest orbit data. Of course, it is a comet which we know little about at the moment so we have 6 years to debate what will really happen. It was very windy when these images were collected which did not make for a very good final image. Good thing the comet is already bright.
