About this image

Comet 2015V2 Johnson as it closes in on perihelion.
Its dust tail is now around 45 arc minutes long and its Ion tail, nearly in the opposite direction, is approaching 25 arc minutes in length. It's visible in binoculars even from my light polluted site.
