About this image

Conjunctions of the Moon and planets are not rare, but they make nice photographic opportunities. On the 2nd June 2017, Jupiter was just 2.5 degrees away from the waxing gibbous Moon and could be captured easily in the field of a DSLR camera with a telephoto lens.
