About this image

Rather poor seeing because Mercury was just above nearby house roofs that were in full sunlight. As usual, the proportion of usable video frames was very small, less than 1%, requiring careful selection in VirtualDub. Final stacking was in Registax, with processing and sharpening in Iris and Registax. The reference image was obtained from Stellarium 0.16.0.

If you compare this image with the one from June 10th you can see the phase has increased and the features have shifted due to the planet's rotation. Note the two images are not to the same scale.
