Local Group Galaxy - PGC19441 the Carina Dwarf

About this image

The Carina Dwarf is a Local Galaxy Group member which is large and indistinct at this scale.  It looks more like a very rich open cluster than a galaxy.  Isolating it isn't helped by it being very near Canopus which causes all sorts of gradients on the image.
