About this image

I've recently bought a second hand Sony A7s camera. This is a full frame camera which is famous for its low light video capability but it is also a very nice still camera. One of the nice things about this camera is that it can use all the old (and fast) lenses that I have for Canon cameras. This is a 100mm f/2 shot of Cygnus at ISO800 taken from my very light-polluted back garden. The limiting mag is around V=14 over a FoV of  20 x 15 deg. The full res image is here.
