About this image

We had a cold frosty, and very clear. Early Winter sky during Sunday evening. It was very welcome too. I was itching to finally capture some more ancient light, from the Whirlpool control room here in Cheshire.

Here is a picture of a very unfamiliar (to me) chain of Galaxies in Pisces. NGC 383.

I used my Atik 428ex on my 4.5" Altair Astro 115 EDT F7 Apo. The exposure times were all 600 seconds, with one 900 seconds exposure added.

I have listed all the objects visible in the field, copied from "Observing Selected, Small Galaxy Groups" by Alvin Huey.
