About this image

This is a shot of the 62 per cent lit Moon. It was taken with a Moto G4 smartphone (handheld) through a Celestron NexStar 6SE (a 6" SCT) using a 25mm Plossl eyepiece. This gave a power of x60 with a 0.9° field of view. It was taken from Stokesley in North Yorkshire. I've cropped the original image and applied a slight edit using the phone's own camera app. This was to enhance the contrast slightly.
