About this image

R2 passing through Taurus east of the Pleiades. The bright star to the N-W is HD 24983 7.36m. I attempted Aperture photometry in IRIS using UCAC4 569-009126 14.7m, and UCAC4 568-009229 13.7m. calculating the intensities the comets magnitude came out at 14.55m?
