About this image

It was a cold (0c) and moonless night, (no chance of werewolves - although come to think of it I've never seen one in South East London, or anywhere else for that matter, so perhaps these beasts really are mythical), the stars were shining bright (visual Magnitude 4.5) pushing back the glow of the useless security flood lights from the Neanderthals of south east London who feel safer knowing that the burglars won’t need torches to illuminate their craft. So all in all a great night for observing! :-)

I am constantly amazed by how technology has become so seamlessly integrated into our lives and at the stroke of midnight, the PC did it’s customary crash, a sign that it knew I needed to get up for Astrofest the next day so I packed up and went to bed!
