About this image

So often overlooked, this nebula sits directly above the famous M42 in Orion.

Colour astrophotography reveals some amazing grayish blue/purple hues.

It reminds me of the "Star Kicker" from the opening sequence to "The Old Gray Whistle Test" (for those old enough to remember it!).

Well worth the effort of more exposures. I will be trying this one again.
