About this image

It was a bitterly cold, still night, illuminated only by the glow produced by incompetent town planners and paranoid households; scared of the dark and uncaring of the environment; but tonight, there was an otherworldly glow in the night sky, a setting 7-day old Moon, its silver glow seeming to chill the night a few degrees further.

These rays from the Sun seem to be devoid of heat and were never intended to be seen from the Earth, but fortunately for me the Moon got in the way, reflecting just a few towards my telescope.
