About this image

Serendipity! Having a chill-out in Cape Verde (Riu Touareg, Boa Vista. Photographing Mercury and Venus on the second night there, I saw the sky was promising, so went out after supper and took a few snaps. Then had Guy Hurst's Circular (22nd March)from The Astronomer with a discovery of a nova on 20th so thought I might have bagged it. It is to the left of the yellow marker. The blow up from the wide field is a bit ragged, the whole shot is to follow.
