About this image

I was pleased and proud that (a version of) this image was printed in the June Journal. I think this version is actually a little more interesting. It is a combination of my image and that of my friend Alan Piggot who was working from a location 500m north of me and using a webcam piggybacked on his telescope. I merged the two photos to show how much location matters in a close approach transit. The transit observing window can be rather narrow.

Very impressive. Presumably, you could use the combined data to calculate the height of the ISS?
