About this image

Using aperture photometry in IRIS I measured the magnitude using the green channel. The comparison stars used were TYC 3347-1235-1 (7.98m) and TYC 3347-1038-1 (9.33m) after averaging the intensities the magnitude of the Nova came out at 8.83m
