Saturn 8th May

About this image

First observation of Saturn for me in the current apparition. Alas the planet is very low and as a result the seeing was rather poor and little detail was seen. The main feature on the disk is the NEB although the NTB was also present but rather vague. The B-Ring looked yellowish- an illusion no doubt caused by the low altitude of the planet.
