About this image

F6 Newtonian telescope + QHY9S mono camera.

A first attempt at using LRGB techniques.  Luminance 60x70s and 15x70s each of S-II (red), O-III (green) and H-β (blue).  Relatively successful, but I was almost caught out by not realising the need to refocus the telescope when switching to the narrow band filters.  I found it quite difficult to get good focus given the faintness of the filtered images .

All images processed using IRIS software.
