About this image

It was tricky in the twilight sky to select the optimal integrated exposure and gain settings that would give a reasonable S/N ratio for the comet's nuclear region. The summer sky doesn't get fully dark at this latitude, even at 00:30 BST.

The following astrometry was submitted to the MPC

C2018 06 06.98686 20 39 30.63 +36 29 56.3 14.5 N Z92

Fingers crossed that this comet will be a worthwhile target over the next few months.
