About this image

Just to demonstrate that imaging is still possible when the sky is quite bright in the middle of summer here are a couple of images I took last night around UTC midnight. Observing was very pleasant with twilight and NLC to the N, the Moon to the W, Jupiter and Saturn in the south and a good Merlot to enhance the experience.

These images were taken using a WO Megrez 72 refractor with a x0.8 field flattener (approx 350mm, f/4.8), a CCD-CLS filter to block UV/IR and some light pullution and an ASI294MC camera cooled to -10C.
