About this image
Unfortunately here in Kent overnight of 12th/13th August was overcast. But with lovely mild conditions & clear skies on both the two following evenings, I took the opportunity to try and take some images of the Perseids.
On both occasions I spent about two hours between 23:00 & 01:00 BST (helpfully timed by the local Parish church clock), taking about 350 images and visually spotting some 36 meteors (some of which I would suggest were sparodics).
The brightest star (bottom middle) is Almaak ( Gamma Andromedae).
