About this image

Mars from 18th October.  The planet is now sufficiently higher in the sky so I can catch it with my observatory at home.  Seeing was fairly reasonable.  Syrtis Major is near the prec. limb, Hellas to the south was quite bright as was the small SPC. Sinus Sabeus quite dark and easy to see.
