About this image

I'm a convert! I always considered the moon to be an annoyance and always thought it should be blasted away into deep space as a result of a freak nuclear accident and wander through the galaxy allowing the inhabitants of the moon base to travel to new alien planets on a weekly basis (oh, has someone already thought of that?). Sorry, back to reality and the 21st Century. Having viewed the moon through my new Mak-Cas it reminded me what a beautiful place the moon is and maybe we should let it stay for now. At least it's not always acting as a Solar reflector on the Earth.

Anyway, I made a mosaic of the whole moon using 61 images taken at prime focus of my Mak-Cas 180. I hope you enjoy it and, yes I know I missed a few bits!
