About this image

Here's an image showing the inner coma detail of 46P. The rotational gradient filter shows two features. One is aligned with the ion tail in PA 35 deg. The other is at right angles to it in PA 120. The faint streaks are star trails. The comet is currently moving at 8.1 arcsec/hr in PA 24.5 deg.
