About this image

Braved the very chilly conditions to capture this image. In fact, the sliding roof of my observatory was frozen shut! A bit of quiet swearing and a good shove freed it.

The planet is quite low down from British skies currently and was only 15° altitude when I made this observation. 61% phase and just under 20" diameter. Slowly shrinking now as it moves away from the Earth.
