About this image

Comet C/2018 Y1 from Chelmsford this morning, Feb 11 as it approaches the two barred spiral galaxies M95 and M96. It is currently racing through Leo at just over 17 arcsec/min. I get a total magnitude of 6.0 using the green channel image and a coma diameter of just over 0.25 degrees.
