Venus and Saturn Conjunction

About this image

Venus with Saturn below and a little to the left. Saturn is very much fainter than Venus and was barely visible with the naked eye in the dawn twilight sky although an easy binocular object. Venus and Jupiter nearer the meridian were both easy naked eye objects. This was taken the day before the closest conjunction but the weather today was hopeless for any form of observation!
